Employees' Provident Fund Organisation will be hiring Enforcement
Officers/Accounts Officers and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioners, and the
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification regarding

Application Process
The UPSC is accepting
applications for EO/AO & APFC recruitment for 2023 through an online
process. To apply, interested candidates should visit the Union Public Service
Commission's official website and navigate to the "Recruitment"

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the
position, the candidate must fulfill the following
1.
Citizenship criteria:
(a) be a citizen of India,
(b) be a subject of Nepal,
(c) be a subject of Bhutan,
(d) be a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri
Lanka, or East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of
Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia,
or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
It should be noted that
candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above must possess a
certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Criteria:
The advertisement specifies the age limit for the post. Candidates belonging to
various categories may be eligible for age concessions, as outlined in the
instructions regarding concessions and relaxations. For the UPSC EPFO
Recruitment 2023, the age limit for EO/AO positions is between 18 to 30 years,
while for APFC posts, it is 18 to 35 years. The crucial date for calculating
the age is 17.3.2023.
3. Qualifications:
To be considered for the position, all applicants must meet the essential
qualifications and other conditions specified in the advertisement. Candidates
are advised to ensure that they possess at least the minimum essential
qualifications required for the post before applying. No requests for advice on
eligibility will be entertained.
Candidates may be considered for the position
based on:
(a) Desirable qualifications, if prescribed in the advertisement
(b) Higher educational qualifications than the minimum required
(c) More extensive experience in the relevant field than the minimum required
(d) Experience gained before or after acquiring the essential qualifications
(e) Relevant experience, even if not mentioned as an essential or desirable
qualification
(f) Successful completion of a recruitment test
(g) Candidates who pass the written recruitment test will receive a link to
fill out a detailed application form (DAF). The link will be provided
separately for each recruitment test.

Application Fees
(a) Except for
Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from
payment, all other candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees
Twenty-five) only. The fee can be paid either by remitting the money in any
branch of SBI by cash, using net banking facility of any bank, or by using
Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
(b) Applicants who choose the
“Pay by Cash” mode should print the system-generated Pay-in-Slip during Part II
registration and deposit the fee at the counter of an SBI Branch on the next
working day only. “Pay by Cash” mode will be deactivated at 11:59 P.M. of 16th
March 2023, i.e., one day before the closing date. However, applicants who have
generated their Pay-in-Slip before it is deactivated may pay at the counter of
an SBI Branch during banking hours on the closing date. Applicants who are
unable to pay by cash on the closing date, even if holding a valid Pay-in-Slip,
will have no other offline option but to opt for available online Debit/Credit
Card/UPI Payment or Internet Banking payment mode on the closing date i.e. till
18:00 hrs (6:00 P.M.) of 17th March 2023.
(c) Candidates who wish to
apply for both the posts need to pay Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only), while those
who apply for a single post need to pay Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty-five only).
(d) No fee is required for
SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community. OBC male candidates are not
eligible for fee exemption and are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
(e) Applications without the
prescribed fee will not be considered and will be summarily rejected. Any
appeal or objection against such rejection will not be considered or
entertained.

The online application process
will commence on February 25th, 2023 at 12:00 noon. The deadline for submitting
applications online is March 17th, 2023, until 18:00 hours.
